Retail systems that run on one set of numbers

Most retailers run a POS, a warehouse system, several marketplaces, a webstore, a finance platform, and often an ERP. Each does its job, but together they rarely give a straight answer on stock, sales, or margin. We connect them, report on them, and keep them running.

The problem

The stock figure nobody can defend

Ask a retail operation how much of a product it holds and the honest answer is usually a question: where. Some is in the warehouse, some is on shop floors, some sits with a third-party logistics provider, and some is in a marketplace's own fulfilment service. Each system reports its own slice correctly, and no system reports the total.

Sales are the same story in a different shape. Each channel exports its own numbers in its own format with its own definition of what counts, and somebody spends part of every week making them agree.

Margin is harder again, because it needs cost data that usually lives in a different system from the sales data, keyed on product codes that differ per channel.

How it works

From ten systems to one set of numbers

We connect the pieces one at a time and prove each against real data.

01

Map where stock and sales live

Every store, warehouse, marketplace, and finance system, what each one holds, and which is the source of truth for each record.

02

Connect the channels and locations

One connector per system, including marketplace fulfilment stock, in the directions your operation needs.

03

Reconcile products and entities

Channel SKUs resolved to one product reference, and every transaction attributed to the right legal entity.

04

Report and keep it running

Sales, stock, and margin reporting on the consolidated data, with monitoring and support after go-live.

What we do for retailers

Six services, one stack

Order Management System

Every order routed to the right store or warehouse the moment it arrives, with stock reserved so nothing is promised twice, including ship from store and click and collect.

Systems Integration & Middleware

One data layer joining POS, warehouse, marketplaces, webstore, finance, and ERP, with every record attributed to the right entity.

Marketplace & E-commerce Integration

Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada, Shopify, and more, connected in the directions your operation needs, including stock and price going back out.

Business Intelligence & Data Platforms

Sales, stock, and margin reporting built on a foundation that holds, so the numbers agree across departments.

Managed IT & Application Support

The team that built it keeps it running, with monitoring, incident response, and vendor chasing handled for you.

AI for retail customers

An AI assistant answering product, stock, and order-status questions on your site and messaging channels, reading from the same data layer, so its answers match what your systems say.

Why retail is different

What we have learned building for it

01

Stock is the hard problem

It moves constantly and is counted in several places at once. Any design that assumes one authoritative stock figure will be wrong within a week.

02

Channels do not behave alike

Each marketplace has its own API, authorisation model, rate limits, and definition of an order. One integration pattern applied to all of them fails on the second one.

03

Peaks are when it matters

Campaign launches are exactly when systems are stressed and exactly when a wrong number costs money. Throttling and monitoring are not optional extras.

04

Product identity is inconsistent

The same item carries different codes on different channels. Reconciling that is foundational, not a tidy-up task for later.

Where it usually hurts

The five problems we see most

Stock that disagrees

Store, warehouse, third-party logistics, and marketplace fulfilment each hold a piece, and no single figure is trusted.

Sales assembled by hand

Consolidated numbers built by downloading from each platform and merging, days after the fact.

No margin visibility

Without a product master and reliable cost data, margin is estimated rather than known.

Entity attribution

Multi-country or multi-company groups where transactions do not land cleanly against the right entity.

Campaign peaks

Launches and flash sales where a stock figure that is an hour old turns into an oversell.

Real-world example

Ten systems, two countries, one view

A multi-channel retail group running marketplaces, a webstore, retail POS, two warehouses, a finance system, and purchasing on a spreadsheet, across two countries.

Before

  • Consolidated reporting was rebuilt by hand every week and was days out of date.
  • Stock positions disagreed across warehouse, stores, and marketplace fulfilment.
  • Country-level numbers were estimates, because nothing attributed transactions to an entity.

After

  • Every system feeds one entity-tagged model on an agreed schedule, unattended.
  • Each location reports its own position, visibly, instead of one merged figure nobody can trace.
  • Any number can be traced back to the source record behind it.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What teams ask us most about retail.

  • Often not. If you run standard systems in one market, a connector tool is the cheaper answer. Custom work earns its place when you have in-house systems, several entities or countries, an ERP in the middle, or stock spread across locations that no single product was built to reconcile.
